The High Temp Limit Thermodisc is a safety switch located near the convection blower. This limit disc opens on temperature rise to interrupt the power if temperatures rise above 300 degrees.
That is an aftermarket version that meets or exceeds the original factory version. It comes with spacers and screws for surface or hole mounting.

The Low-Limit or Proof of Fire Thermodisc is mounted on the combustion blower housing in all pellet stove models from 2003 to present and the Multi-Fuel stove. The limit switch monitors the temperature of exhaust gases and is designed to shut down the stove if the temperature drops below about 85º F degrees.
